Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney is a barrister from the United States and Lebanon, a human rights activist and philanthropist. She was born Amal Ramzi Amuddin. A graduate of Oxford University and New York University School of Law her long and accomplished profession in the areas of human rights and international law have won her international acclaim. Her clients include several prominent nation states, such as Armenia as well as its fight to have the Turkish government recognize the Armenian Genocide. Amal Clooney was engaged and later got married to American actor George Clooney, instantly making her famous in the world of pop-culture. Years before this though she was already well-known and loved by legal professionals as a lawyer who consistently represents her clients with skill and great success. The range of her work spans from dealing with human rights and justice problems to representing multinational companies in negotiation and court cases in relation to government regulation.
